In simple words, social work is a hugely important profession, where an individual tries to make a difference for families and communities and help them meet their basic needs.
The main three goals of social work are to maximize human potential, help people meet their social needs and achieve social justice. People who take up social work as their career work hard towards these goals.
Creating good change in society and being willing to work hard for it is pretty amazing, and we should all thank every social worker we come across with a tight hug and beautiful smile. Nothing makes social workers happier than knowing their efforts are making a good change in the world.
